Goodrington Sands Beach in Paignton is a safe sandy award winning family beach where you can hire beach huts, pedalos, sun loungers or deck chairs, also water skiing sessions or ringo rides from Skiwest.
Goodrington also has two secluded coves, the first of which is called Oyster Cove and the second called Saltern Cove, both of which are accessed from the South West coast path just a few hundred metres from Goodrington South Sands beach.
Goodrington Sands Beach is also home to Quaywest Water Park which has water slides & flumes and swimming pool, with the water heated to 80° you can relax on the gentle Surf Lagoon or experience the exhilarating Screamer or the Wild Kamikaze. There is so much for everyone to enjoy from tube slides, body slides, triple drop slides & freefall slides.
Adjacent to the beach is Goodrington park with boating lake, Amusements, Crazy Golf Pitch and Putt, The Seashore Centre and a Brewers Fayre family eatery pub.
The Steam train from Paignton to Dartmouth runs directly alongside the beach and can be boarded here at Goodrington station.
