The Flag of Devon

Yes, Devon does have it´s own flag. The Flag of Devon is the flag of the English county of Devon. It is dedicated to Saint Petroc, a local saint with numerous dedications throughout the West Country and particularly in Devon.

VisitPaignton.net is full of helpful information for tourists and the local community about South Devon´s attractions and places of interest.

More and more we are seeing the flag of Devon displayed, it is made up of three colours; Green representing the lush rolling green hills of Devon; Black for the wild moors of Dartmoor; White is the salt of the sea surf of the south and north coasts.

Devon County Council backs the use of the Devon flag as a way of showing pride in the county and flies the flag at County Hall.
